What others write about us

A summer festival, a garden day, 500 oak trees and a week of circus: what happens here occasionally finds its way into the paper. A selection of reports from 3 publications. All articles were published in German.

  1. Kronberger Bote

Summer festival at the Children's House

Under the banner “All children everywhere have rights”, we celebrated with children, families and staff — with an age-appropriate look at children's rights, a performance and plenty of hands-on activities. Published on page 22.

  2. Kronberger Bote

Garden day: a wilder, greener playground

Parents, children and the parents' association reworked the grounds: a new insect hotel, the repaired water channel, a great many pollinator-friendly plants — and a playground that has become both safer and wilder.

  3. Kronberger Bote

Child-centred and rounded: how to get the start of school right

A portrait of how we move children from the Children's House into school — a path that does not suddenly begin with a “pre-school year” but grows with the child from the first day. Sandra Spörl, who heads the Children's House: “It is about giving children a stable foundation so that they can start school with confidence.”

  4. Kronberger Bote

A musical performance in the spotlight

Our ensemble “U chor lele Montessori Kronberg” was recognised for its appearance at “Schulen in Hessen musizieren”, the Hessian schools music festival: ukulele and mime in brightly coloured gloves, directed by Sabine Heinze and accompanied on the piano by Margarita Kopp.

  5. Grashüpfer Taunus

The “Monte forest” campaign in the press

500 oaks in the Kronberg town forest, planted together with the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald and HessenForst — a statement on the climate, carried by children, parents and volunteers.

  6. Frankfurter Neue Presse

Their school turns into a circus ring

Working with the Crazy Monkey circus, our school building turned into a big top from 15 to 20 September — full of magic, acrobatics, clowning and adventure.
