Free work that holds

In mixed-age classes the children learn with and from one another. Two teachers per class make sure that every child is seen — in free work as much as in subject lessons.

How we learn

Free work & consolidation

The heart of the morning: each child chooses their work, their pace and who they work with — accompanied and recorded by the teachers.

Subject lessons

Immersive English from year 1, ukulele classes, digital literacy, PE, art and more — taught in same-age groups by specialist teachers.

All eight subjects
Marks & reports

Detailed grid reports up to year 3 and a numerical report in year 4 — plus, in every year, a report written for the child that sets out their strengths.

The school & school life

After-school clubs

The afternoon carries on: a drama club that stages its own productions, an art club, and a changing programme — from STEM projects to days of forest education.
