Our state-recognised independent primary school in Kronberg is a place of learning, laughter and growing together. For our warm and lively afternoon care we are looking for a committed, kind-hearted person who enjoys accompanying children through their day and helping them grow.
Your responsibilities
- Looking after and accompanying the primary school children in the afternoon
- Supervising and accompanying the children at lunchtime
- Planning a varied programme of free-time activities (games, crafts, movement, creative work)
- Helping with homework in a calm and encouraging atmosphere
- Encouraging good social relationships and respectful behaviour
- Working closely with colleagues, teachers and parents
- Covering holiday care for a total of 5 weeks a year
Your profile
- You enjoy working with children of primary school age
- Empathy, patience and a sense of responsibility
- A reliable, friendly and team-minded way of working
- Experience in education or a relevant qualification is welcome but not essential
- Creativity and openness to new ideas
Working hours
- Afternoon care on school days from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
- Lunchtime supervision as part of the care hours from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
- In addition, holiday care for 5 weeks a year
