More news from our Christmas elf

This week too our elf delighted us with surprising and funny things in the Advent tin. He told us about his morning routine, which we copied straight away in the circle — the children will find the little movement story in their post bag to take home as well.

In his daily letter he asked the children to help him polish the stars, so that at Christmas they would shine brightly over the stable in Bethlehem. For the occasion we learned the carol “Stern über Bethlehem”.

Then we found a “melted snowman” in the room: during the night the elf had made snow fall in the garden, built a snowman and brought him indoors. And once, colourful sprinkles came out of the taps.

The pre-school children were especially excited because they were allowed to go over to the school with Ms Spörl, where they worked on tasks for almost-schoolchildren with Ms Schwers.
