Years 1 to 4 on their school trip to the Hohenloher Hof

In mid-June all the children from years 1 to 4 set off together on their three-day school trip — this time to the Hohenloher Hof. Waiting for them there was lively company, time with animals and a creative programme in the middle of the countryside.
The Hohenloher Hof is a familiar place: we return regularly to accommodation we trust, which meets our educational standards and gives the children a sense of the familiar. The year before, the trip went to the Wegscheide — this year it was ponies, campfires and colourful craft sessions.
For three days there was playing, riding, stroking and making. In the riding arena the children got close to the animals; making dreamcatchers produced small works of art. The first evening around the campfire with bread on sticks was especially atmospheric; on the second evening the farm turned into a children's disco.
“I loved the pony riding — and at the disco I didn't want to stop dancing at all!” (Paula, aged 7)
Growing together
Once a year all the primary children spend three days away from the classroom with their teachers. They take on responsibility, discover new things at their own pace and strengthen their bond with the community — accompanied throughout by the teachers they know.
